Randal graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.). While pursuing her J.D. at SMU, Randal acted as a student attorney and performed approximately 1,000 hours of representing real clients in family, criminal, and CPS cases. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
